My students are children who love learning but have not all been given to tools to do so. They like to move around the classroom learning a lot. My school is in an urban setting in the center of the city. Many of my parents work many jobs but did not have the schooling background to be comfortable helping their children at home.
I need to do my part to make sure they understand what they need to learn in the seven hours they are at school each day.
As a teacher, I have to solve problems and make sure no matter what is happening at home they feel safe at school to learn.
I am asking for a tower for my room so that we can play music for out brain breaks and focused attention practices.
When we are cleaning up centers or are dealing with classroom issues, I usually give my students brain breaks.
It is important to have an area that is calm and gives the students what they need. I am asking for an Amazon tower to help play music or answer questions quickly. I have brought my Alexa from home, and my students love to ask questions like "what are farts made from", and "what happens to gum when you swallow it". They like to have information right in front of them.
