My class of 21 kindergarten students is ready and willing to learn when they come to school each day. These young students who come in the year unable to identify their own names, are reading and writing, as well as adding and subtracting by years end. When they walk into the classroom, their learning journey begins.
Kindergarten is the place where foundational skills are learned and the creation of a lifelong learner takes place.
Each day in our classroom is a new discovery.
My Project
Kindergarteners are very curious beings. The are very aware of the world around them and want to know more about it. Sometimes they have questions that even I can not answer. Such as what is that bug?, why do elephants have big trunks?, and the common, why is the sky blue?
An Alexa would answer any and all our questions in the classroom... in addition to letting u listen to music, telling us the weather, news updates, and the time and date!
What I love most about the Alexa is that all students will be able to use it when needed. Also included in our project is a pack of bright colored vinyl, so we have keep a list of our favorite songs on our wall. By supporting our project, you will be able to support learning in multiple ways.
