My students need an Amazon Echo, new expo markers, and colorful pens for when they engage in teacher time. During this time they come to the board and write on the board.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school in North Carolina where one hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students come from low economic backgrounds, and my classroom is where they are allowed to just take a break from their everyday home life.
My students are kids that enjoy having fun and learning.
As their teacher, I am always honored to be able to help them become better students and help them build character and confidence. Regardless of the circumstances, I am the teacher who holds them to high expectations.
My Project
These materials will help us engage in creative learning. Students will be able to speak out to Alexa on the Amazon Echo to get help with mathematical equations. This is an awesome new technology that will help them be successful. Another thing that we enjoy in the class so far is, being able to be the teacher. Students have a section of the lesson everyday where they come to the board and become the teacher. They are able to teach their peers whatever the lesson may be for the day. Our Paper Mate Pens allow us to get creative with our work and add color when we are doing operations. With this, that means we go through tons of dry erase makers so it is important for us to continually get these.
