My Students

My kindergarten students come to school so excited to learn and make new friends. We start out each year building a sense of community with each other and working toward independence. I love working with this age group because they are interested in learning so many different things.

My students come from a wide range of different backgrounds and cultures and many of them speak another language when they start kindergarten.

Even when two students don't speak the same language, they still find a way to communicate and work together which is something I love to watch happen.

My Project

My students will use this echo to complete basic tasks throughout our school day. From telling us the time, starting a timer or playing the clean up song. My students will learn how important this robot can be in their lives. Some students already have one at home but many of my students have never used one before. Integrating this kind of technology is crucial in the society we live in now and it's important to start in kindergarten. My students will love hearing their favorite songs played through law a and even their favorite books! Alexa would make a great addition to our classroom!
