My Students

"GOOD MORNING, MRS. SKINNER!" is what I get to hear every morning from my excited and eager to learn students. Being able to witness the joy on my student's faces every morning when they walk into my classroom is a feeling only a teacher can understand.

My students are so enthusiastic about school and most consider it their home away from home.

In our classroom, we have a wide variety of students. Each student has a different way of learning. I want to try my best as their teacher to ensure that they are getting the most out of learning and they are able to get the most from their school day. Our school is considered a Title I school in a beautiful little city we call our home.

My Project

Having an Alexa and portable lap desks will not only make our learning easier but it will allow us to have fun while doing so! Although as much as I would like to say I do..but I don't know everything! I like to take the opportunity to find out the answers to the questions that I don't know the answer to. Having an Alexa will not only make that process easier, but it will make it much faster! I also would love to give my students the chance to find out the answers to questions they may not know.

In our classroom, I allow my students to sit where they feel comfortable.

It may be on the floor, under the table, in a bean bag, on a stool or on a yoga mat. Having the portable lap desks will give my students another flexible seating option that may suit their sensory needs!
