My Students

Our Alaskan school is an amazing place to learn and teach. We are a diverse medley of 380+ students from all different backgrounds. Our different cultures and backgrounds mix together in a wonderful way every day on our campus.

Our group of learners strive to do great things for our community on a daily basis!

Students will have the firsthand opportunity to grow seeds into vegetable crops that will be shared with the community through the Children's Lunchbox program in Anchorage.

My Project

My project will fund the start up of our school's very first school wide garden! Students all across the school will have the firsthand opportunity to grow seeds into vegetable crops. These veggies will be shared with the community through the Children's Lunchbox Program. Children's Lunchbox is a city-wide program that helps to feed hungry youth in Alaska fresh and organic fruits and veggies. Many of our students personally benefit from this program.

Digging potatoes isn't easy, and these hand tools will allow students to get the job done!

They will have the opportunity to get into the soil, get dirty, and really work with the plants that they have grown since they were seeds.
