At our school in Utah, we have students from all over the globe. We have a very diverse group of students from all over the globe that loves to go to the Makerspace, design and build all sorts of projects. This hands on space is a favorite amongst AISU students and everyone is always welcomed by fellow tinkerers.
Students use the makerspace to create anything they can dream of.
They learn about manufacturing, processes and how to operate tools. AISU emphasizes project based learning. Students from just about every class will use the makerspace to work on their projects in a very hands-on way. Physics students will build guitars, while English students build sets from the Shakespearean era. This gives everyone at AISU a unique opportunity work on hands on projects.
My Project
These materials will help students at AISU have a safe and productive Makerspace. Hearing and dust protection will be used by many different classes that utilize the Makerspace.
The Makerspace allows students to create anything they can imagine.
Safety is always the top priority.By having enough hearing protection for every student, we can ensure that they will not suffer any damage and have many wonderful years of making creations in the makerspace.
Dust protection will keep students' lungs protected. The eyewash station will be used in case of an emergency and we can act accordingly. A tidy workplace will also help keep our students safe and able to build what whatever they can imagine.
We are also in need of tools and places to put them. A locking cabinet will ensure that tools are returned and not misplaced.
