My Students
Middle school students are entirely a different breed. What makes them so special is you never know what to expect! They keep you on your toes and always surprise you with what their thoughts really are...when you most certainly are thinking the opposite.
Middle schoolers have the capability to do great things!
They enjoy working with partners and groups to solve real world problems. Middle schoolers are a very social group and are trying to figure out where they are and what they stand for in this world.
My Project
My goal is to keep my students as healthy as possible while returning to school. When used along with other best practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, operating an air cleaner can be part of a plan to protect my students.
The EPA states, "When used properly, air purifiers can help reduce airborne contaminants including viruses in a home or confined space." Covid-19 is not my only concern, as every year many students lose valuable learning experiences due to allergies and/or illness.
My goal is to help reduce the number of students missing school due to illness or to help students feel more comfortable with their allergy symptoms. Purchasing an air purifier will help me reach that goal.
