This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are faced with many challenges living in low-income and high-poverty neighborhoods. Every child at the school receives free breakfast and lunch daily. As a teacher at a Title I school, my goal is to provide my students with meaningful learning experiences in a safe classroom environment.

Having air purifiers placed around the classroom will help remove the viruses from the air, and reduce the concentration and the potential for exposure.

We are hoping to acquire air purifiers to clean the air to help make the students, parents, and teachers feel safe while being in the classroom. Everyone will feel less hesitant and more comfortable about being back in the classroom after the pandemic.

This will also help reduce the number of students and teachers contracting COVID. It has been very challenging for students who have to be quarantined and miss out on learning time in the classroom.

Please help us have clean air to breathe while we learn and grow together.
