This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from across the globe and face enormous challenges. We are a high poverty school and my students come from many backgrounds. Many are English learners and speak Spanish, Korean, Bengali, Tagalog, Russian, and more as their first language.
My students are a bright, motivated and incredibly diverse group of middle school students.
I am inspired by their hard work and dedication to learning. In the face of challenges, they are very resilient.
As a language arts teacher, I want to bring my love of literature, writing, and character development to my students as they navigate growing up in Los Angeles.
My Project
Many of our students are visual learners. They like to see pictures and videos of what we are learning. This device will help us air play our visuals, videos, and projects. The newest model of Apple TV will make it possible to connect and beam from our device without any issues.
Air Play enables us to beam anything we want to our LCD projector from anywhere in the room!
This device will make it easy to move around the room and demonstrate from anywhere in the class. This will make group learning and whole class discussions streamlined and totally seamless.
