My Students
The students of class 5-101 are a wonderfully diverse group of individuals with an abundance of potential. Coming from a variety of backgrounds and displaying a plethora of skills and knowledge they already have, we are so excited to begin this 5th grade year! Many of us have already formed trusting relationships with one another and look forward to growing together as a group as well as individuals.
This group of students are ready to work hard and remain focused on reaching great heights in their last year in elementary school.
My Project
To work to the best of their ability, my students (and myself) need to work in a room that is conducive for teaching & learning. In the early and late summer months during which we are still in school, our classroom becomes incredibly hot, leading the students to become uncomfortable, tired, and irritable.
I chose a portable air conditioner for our room so that the students can stay cool, calm, and comfortable while they are working.
