it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a mini fridge and paper supplies for students in a functional skills classroom. The fridge and supplies will serve dual purposes. One is to keep ready-made snacks for my students cool. Two, to keep a few ingredients on hand so that my students can make themselves a simple snack.
Being able to make oneself a quick snack is such a valuable asset and fosters independence.
I want my students to be able to make a sandwich, chocolate milk, chicken nuggets, a hotdog, or any other simple snack of their choosing.
