Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in a special education self contained class. Students in this academic unit are usually 2-3 or more grade levels behind. The abilities in my classroom range from Autism, Intellectual Disability, Visually Impaired, and Learning Disabilities. The reading lessons are guided and hands on. Some students require headphones so that they may listen to the stories and books that their peers are accessing.

Help me give my students an inclusive reading area with headphones, bean bags, chair bands, books and magazines where they can not only be themselves but enjoy reading!

My students are eager to learn at their level. I would love to have your help to make this happen.
