This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials would directly impact my students during circle time and other academic activities. This includes flexible seating, sensory busy books, cars for playing, playdoh, playdoh accessories, counting activities, visual timers, pencil grips and teacher supplies like lamination sheets and organizational bags. All of these materials would be made for visual cues, counting activities, sensory regulation strategies, data tracking and IEP goal collection. Having a preschool SPED classroom means every activity and lesson has to be very hands on. Having these materials would help me bridge the gap for my students academically and create more engaging lessons. All of these materials make learning accessible and enjoyable for my students.
