My students need new and updated furniture. I have been teaching kindergarten for many years, and now my incoming second graders need more mature and updated tables, chairs, and storage for our classroom library.

My Students
I am lucky to teach in the city I grew up in. My school is in the lovely South Florida city of Boynton Beach, FL. In my classroom my students are eager to learn in the most beautiful classroom in one of the nicest school in our county. My students love to read, create projects, learn new concepts, and strive in the best classroom environment. I have had the great joy of teaching Kindergarten for many years. Now I am starting a new adventure in Second grade! Go Sea Turtles!
My Project
With our reading and writing block taking up more than half of our school day, having other seating options besides my student's same old desk everyday is very important. Students will feel more comfortable to let their creativity flow when they can lay down on the carpet, sit at the special table and chairs, or get lost in a good book in comfy cushioned chairs. If you donate to my project my students will have many fun and different seating options to learn effectively everyday. When students feel like their learning atmosphere is fun, colorful, and unique their chances of being successful is so much higher. I am so excited for this upcoming school year and switching to second grade. Your help in updating my classroom would be forever appreciated.
