Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a veteran teacher of twenty-years. I have witnessed students in need of personal hygiene items. These young people were embarrassed and anxious. I have also observed young males who forgot to use antiperspirant, before they came to school.

My goal is to provide student with antiperspirant and body wash/soap because I have also observed students who are not clean, so their body odors permeate the class.

I have had counselors to meet with these students. Additionally, I have also purchased various items for students to take home to use. I'm a firm believer that smelling good makes you feel good.
