My Project
Lately, I find that more and more of my pre-k students are dealing with anger issues, are easily upset, or just struggle to calm down after they get angry/frustrated. I believe that the materials that I am requesting will assist with this problem. I think that these Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) materials will provide a range of benefits for my students and program. There are a variety of ways that my students can benefit from the SEL materials
These SEL materials, including sequined stuffed animals, games, and play dough, will enhance my students with their ability to manage their emotions and reduce stress, allowing them to concentrate better.
Also, they will positively impact my students' academic performance, behavior, and overall well-being. SEL may also allow students to feel safe and relax more. When students feel safe and supported, they are more likely to participate actively in class and take ownership of their learning.
