This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the biggest things my students use throughout the year is tissues. We can’t seem to keep enough in the classroom. During some parts of the year we can go through a box a day. While some families are wonderful and give as much as possible most students come from low income households or shelters where parents can not contribute much. It may seem small but this is big for them.
The requested tissues and paper towels will help us fight all the germs during cold and flu season and all the messes we make!
And doing so will help keep my students as healthy as possible so they do not miss out on school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
