it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is to provide an opportunity for my special ed class to both create and manage a small farming lesson where they will practice caring for and growing crops. This is a biology lesson that will teach the process of a seed to a full-blown plant, and it will also be a great opportunity for the kids to practice sequencing and following a classroom chore with multiple steps. This lesson is to provide another engaging classroom activity that will be memorable for the rest of their lives.
Farming is a large part of our community in the central valley of California and this lesson would provide an opportunity for those with disabilities to get a chance to immerse themselves in the agricultural world.
