Help me give my students a STEM center to help grow in critical thinking.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Worley's classroom raised $291
This project is fully funded
My Students
Our school is located in a rural low economic area. I teach in a Title I school where all of our students receive free breakfast and free or reduced rate lunch. There are 500 students in grades K-5 and 300 students in grades 6-8.
Students at our school strive to do their very best!
They love to visit the media center weekly to checkout books and see what new books are available! The students visit the library weekly as part of their encore specials.
My Project
The Lego character sets will help students with confidence and critical thinking skills. Students in grades K-2 participate in library centers weekly. They look forward to centers every week! This would be a new and exciting center for them to explore. These materials will be used for years to come. Students can also express themselves with these materials. The emoji legos can be used for expression of how they are feeling that day. The animal legos can be used with a thematic unit while learning about facts of those animals. I know the students will be excited and engaged during this center time.
