This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of my students come from low income poverty stricken neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are underserved and this needs to stop.
I am new to this school but not this demographic.
I want to give these children the best education I can.
After the past year we've had these children and all children deserve joy being brought back to education.
My Project
State testing and many technological advances have been made in recent years. More and more educational resources are now only on the computer.
My students use technology every day.
We have all of our curriculum on our computers. Our headphones are old and many of them do not work. With the year our students just went through I want to give them the best possible experience coming back into the classroom.
State testing is back this year. They will need new headphones so they can properly succeed in their return to the classroom.
