Students of low socioeconomic levels thrive when they feel that other people care about them and with this donation, they do. Students come into the classroom without their supplies and having all those pencils have made so I could provide for them. They know where the pencils will always be located so they could get one whenever they need it. If they see the tin empty, they know that they could always ask for some and I will take more out. Inaddtion to that, having all those tissues in the classroom has made it easier for students when they need them. They know where to find them. \r\n The paper organizer made it easier for students to be able to collect any materials that they need. Those papers are organized and separated for students to go get them when they need it. In addition to that, the counting chips helped with reviewing adding and subtracting integers. Many students were confused when it came to subtracting with negative numbers. The counting chips made it easier to visualize and conceptualize zero pairs.\r\nOverall, these supplies have been very helpful to the classroom. We appreciate all of your help and donations.","fullyFundedDate":1729727599146,"projectUrl":"project/make-learning-more-effective/8810324/","projectTitle":"Make Learning More Effective","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. A","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9771514"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_101251","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":469,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":38,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":60,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"5 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":73.7,"schoolId":101251,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Teach Academy of Technologies on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Teach Academy of Technologies","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/los-angeles-unified-school-district/teach-academy-of-tech/101251"}
