After-School Learning Fun and Games

My Project

My special education students will be invited to participate in my after-school club. Students can stay after school two days a week, with one day dedicated to Math and the other Literacy. The club will use academic games to strengthen students' learning.

The goal is to reinforce skills taught in class through games and social connection.

Fun and learning CAN go hand and hand. When students are engaged they can easily transfer the knowledge they learned in class. Also, exposure to skills in a variety of ways can support student learning and long term success.
