This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are an Elementary Art Class located in a large Inner City Elementary School, within Oklahoma City. We love to CREATE! We love to draw, we love to paint, create fiber art projects, and we love clay! We also love to learn about Art History and Artists throughout different cultures. We are creative and caring and our art is wonderful! Please support our classroom and color us happy. Your donation will support around 700 students from pre-kindergarten thru sixth grade.
Thank you so much for supporting these amazing students!
My Project
My students are in an Afterschool Honor's Art Club. They are very talented and they need their own sketchbook and drawing pencils, so that they may continue drawing away from school. Sketchbooks are very important to artist, because they allow them to journal their progress and new ideas for projects.
I feel that if they had their own individual Sketchbooks and Art materials, they may continue drawing, and create a lifelong love of the arts.
Please consider supporting our Afterschool Art Program, we will be working on Art Techniques, Individual Painting Projects, Origami, and Sets for the Music Department. Thank you so much!
