Help me give my students African wear to reflect their heritage and identity.
FULLY FUNDED! Dr. Phillip-Malahoo's classroom raised $368

My Students
My students are hardworking and dedicated learners. They come to school every day with a yearning to learn! It is our job to provide them with all the tools and education they will need for their future. Most of my kids are African-American. I want to provide them with clothes that celebrate and reflect their heritage.
My Project
My classroom is predominantly African-American. During the month of February, I want to help them celebrate their heritage and culture. One way I can do this is by proving tradition, cultural wear for them.
Cultural clothing will help my students connect with their roots and show them that we are all in this together.
The clothes are an outward representation of the unity I am trying to foster in my classroom. Walking through the halls of our school, with our elegant shirts and skirts will cause the children to feel a sense of pride!
