My Project

Students need the opportunity to see diversity in scientists. More materials are becoming available, however books on African American scientists are still a rarity. I would like these books because students enjoy the graphic novel format they are written in and are great at explaining the topic so it is easy to understand.

This collection will help to broaden student interest in Science and better understand the content being covered in my class.

At this age, the curriculum starts to become harder to understand and visualize. Trade books are great to fill in this gap in student learning. Please consider donating, thank you in advance!
