This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my first year at a title one school. All 100 + students are in need of materials. I’ve punched notebook paper, notebooks for students, copy paper just so that I can make handouts for them (my school didn’t have much).

They are tired of using the computers all the time due to COVID so I’m trying to bring back some type of a normal classroom and make the environment feel like “home”.

These supplies will help with hands-on activities that we do. They have gone through the case of glue sticks that I purchased at the beginning of the year, and we are just on week 4 of school. The markers will allow students to work in groups or individually to display their results. I currently don't have a class set of scissors so they are currently sharing a total of 8 and I have class sizes of 30.

These basic needs are things that will help make my life some what easier. Thank you in advance.
