My Project
I teach Child Development and take students to work in elementary schools during their class period. Students go to the Elementary schools 3 days a week Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This project will give my students the ability to read books to younger students at the elementary schools in their 1st language. This also helps them practice using Spanish because they are in a Spanish immersion school and helps them build their literacy by using and reading in Spanish. This will also help students with fluency and comprehension while building and practicing their own literacy while working and tutoring with students.
