My Project

I work with 5 other teachers as part of the intervention team at our school. We work hard to help students succeed in reading by making reading fun! One way that we can help with this is to give our students books that are more engaging and exciting. Some of the books we would love to have for our groups are chapter books and comic books.

When students are reading books that are interesting to them, they are excited to keep reading and come back for more!

By providing books that are aligned to our curriculum, we are able to give students the opportunity for extra practice on new skills in a more engaging way.

I can't wait to see the adventures we can take in reading with these new stories!
