Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The following selection of books will provide my students with hands on texts that will allow them to make connections to characters, build empathy, and have a sense of belonging. Whether it’s a biography of an inspirational figure or a dog who saves the day, the adventures of reading are limitless when engaging students through actual texts of their choice. A classroom library will be perfect to help my readers be motivated to read in their down time, extra time, DEAR time and anytime. Students will discover and develop skills.
