Adventures in Reading

My Students

My students are highly motivated, creative students who thoroughly enjoy a good book! We love having engaging book talks and sharing our favorite authors and book series. This year we have discovered just how much we love reading and solving mysteries with our favorite characters.

My students love to immerse themselves into new books and travel to new places as well as having adventures in the past.

Connecting to characters who inspire them and excite them keep them reading every chance they get!

My Project

Reading is one of our most favorite times of the day. We love learning about history and going on fun adventures with the characters Jack and Annie. In this time of virtual learning, the students love to have their own copy of a paperback book. They get to read in class or at home. These books pair up perfectly with our curriculum units in Social Studies and Science. The best part is we can have book clubs and authentic book talks within our reading groups.

Please help us add to our classroom library with one of our favorite book series.

When students love to read, they are well on their way to being life long learners!
