My Project

Tattered, fallen apart books have taken over my classroom library! It's a beautiful thing to watch my students fall in love with reading. However, my books have seen better days. My classroom library was handed down to me, roughly 7 years ago. Some of my books have been circulating classrooms for over 30 years. Although my students have handled them with the utmost care, it's time most of them retire. This project is filled with new books my students will love.

All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-they were all chosen after I asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading.

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences. After all, adventure awaits with the turn of a page.
