Our Design and Engineering Club is eager to embrace the future of technology and innovation. We’re seeking funding for a 3D printer and 3D scanner, tools that will open new doors of creativity and opportunity for our students. These devices will allow students to bring their designs to life, fostering hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving skills that are essential in today’s tech-driven world.
Access to cutting-edge technology is vital, especially for students from historically marginalized communities who often face barriers to these resources.
By providing these tools, we aim to bridge the gap, giving students the chance to explore fields like engineering, architecture, and digital design. This project will not only empower students to visualize their ideas but also inspire them to pursue careers in STEM fields where they are traditionally underrepresented.
With a 3D printer, students can prototype solutions to real-world challenges, and with the 3D scanner, they can digitize objects for analysis, modification, and iteration. This project will foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity, helping to shape the next generation of diverse innovators and problem solvers.
