My Project
The Bambu P1S and X1C machines require no calibration, testing, assembly, or any setup once it is removed from their shipping box. This printer would allow students to quickly test their designs if we have issues with one of the student-run machines.
It would also allow students to baseline when troubleshooting problems with a design.
The machine could also be used to print professional designs for outside community partners.
We work with schools from across our rural community, supporting their STEM programs, and this resource can elevate the services we provide to the community.
Additionally, we have several community partners providing health care access via our 3D printing services, which provide free products to those in need.
Students will be able to complete over 100 projects from this project alone.
