This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an Elementary Art Class located in a large Inner City Elementary School, within Oklahoma City. We love to CREATE! We love to DRAW, we love to PAINT, create FIBER ART projects, and we love clay! We also love to learn about Art History and Artists throughout different cultures. We are creative and caring and our art is wonderful! Please support our classroom and color us happy. Your donation will support around 700 students from pre-kindergarten thru sixth grade.

My Project

We are creating an adorable Fiber Art Project, by weavings on Twigs. We need yarn and beads to complete our art project.

Weaving is a fun way to teach Fiber Arts to students, as well as, a great way to learn about beautiful Textile Artists, and the importance of this art form to many cultures, both present and past.

Please, consider supporting our Weaving Project, this project will help Fifth and Sixth Grade Girls and Boys learn to weave in Art Room.
