This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are extremely creative, thoughtful and full of exciting questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
Despite the personal hardships that they may face daily, my students come to school each day willingly ready to learn, try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Truly, these children are my inspiration and I want to provide them with the learning experience with amazing supplies!
My Project
There is a lot of blame for educational successes on educators but proper supplies play a large part in educational success! Having the right school supplies help children to learn in multiple ways!
Without having the proper supplies in the classroom, students have no way to practice or implement their true skills.
Knowledge can be transferred by simply talking, but the development of skills requires practice. Having the proper supplies give students the opportunity to take what they have learned and actually apply it.
Being able to be resourceful and reusing supplies is also very important. Being able to laminate activities and using the dry erase markers to complete the activities gives the students the opportunity to reuse the activities constantly without destroying them.
