My Project

My students were given a set of cheap headphones at the beginning of the school year. Seven months later and we are down to three working pairs. I have reached out to parents about providing their students with their own personal pair. We are in a low income district where many students are living in a one parent household, some at homeless shelters, and some in temporary housing arrangements. I am looking to provide my students with these headphones to better focus and help amplify their individualized learning during independent work, and to take that financial burden off of their guardians.

The stools will help ensure that our MTSS time is spent efficiently and effectively.

During this time, students are pulled into small groups based on their learning differences and needs. Right now, each student has to bring their chair from their assigned seat to our teacher table. This is distracting for the whole class and uses valuable time. These stools will be dedicated for use solely at the teacher table for these reasons.
