Addressing COVID Learning Gaps and Social Emotional Needs of Kindergarteners

Help me give my students needed supplies to help with their educational needs in the area of social emotional support and gaps in learning created by COVID 19 lockdowns.

My Project

My project will address the needs of the youngest students in our school that may be experiencing social emotional needs and gaps in learning due to our COVID lockdown. We are requesting art supplies, hand held microscopes, headphones for listening centers, books, recess equipment and toys for our explorations centers. These items will help us to provide a rich curriculum that addresses the different and varied learning styles of all our students - creating spaces for creativity, fun and academic learning. Our young students need time for art, explorations, productive and imaginative play and guidance on social emotional needs such as respect and kindness through books geared for young children.
