This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me provide my students with an equitable educational experience by teaching them essential hygiene habits and address their hunger needs. I teach high school students who are still learning about their body changes.

The deodorant wipes will help address body odor and the snacks will help provide nourishment.

My students sometimes do not have access to proper hygiene on a daily basis and the wipes will help mitigate body odor and help avoid embarrassing moments. The snacks will help me feed the students who often do not have access to food on a daily basis and are not able to concentrate because their basic needs have not been met.
