This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is located in the historic East End of Houston where the culture is rich and the roots run deep. We have students from many different backgrounds that hail from all over the surrounding areas to attend our STEM program with a biotech/neuroscience focus. The advanced curriculum at our school is designed to help students as they prepare for careers in the medical field. The future of medicine is quite literally in my classroom.

Our students are creative, active, and excited to learn new things.

They need books and bookmarks to continue building their love of reading.

As a campus, we strive to create a school where students with many different interests can flourish and excel.
