My Project

Math can be fun! Students love to learn with hands on activities. In my kindergarten class the students are just learning about the fun of numbers and the process of addition and subtraction. I would love to have these manipulative to use with my students and help them have fun while learning. Hands on activities help the students to better understand and retain what they are learning. I will be able to use the manipulatives to have various math centers for students to rotate to while I am pulling other students for small groups. It is so important to fully utilize every minute that students have by keeping them engaged in learning the whole time.
