ADD/ADHD Help for Little Learners

Help me give my students wobble seats for their classroom chairs and sensory fidgets to keep their bodies busy while their minds can still focus.

My Students

I have an amazing class of twenty-seven, very diverse, second-grade students. They are all sweet and smart and I love working with them every day. They have very diverse backgrounds, talents, and challenges. I learn something new from each of them every single day. Some of the challenges I have in my classroom are kids with ADD and ADHD. These kids need a special kind of help

My students need materials and stimuli that can help them manage their ADD and ADHD symptoms in class.

These are smart and sweet boys and girls who have trouble accessing the curriculum due to their disabilities.

My Project

I have several boys and girls in my room who have ADD and/or ADHD. These little ones are smart and sweet, but their diagnosis tends to keep them from feeling smart and being able to focus. This disability sometimes leads to kids having large holes in their learning because of their lack of focus.

My students need chair pads, focus materials as well as fidgets for their hands and feet.

By having fidgets they can use in their hands as well as in and on their seats will help keep their little minds focused so that they don't have these large gaps in their learning. Wobble cushions would help my students focus as they work on their writing skills using the Abilitations Hi-Write Beginner Paper. I am also requesting a set of Magna tiles to improve hand-eye coordination.
