Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class is a very diverse, unique group of students. We are a mixture of kindergarten and first-grade special education. They all learn at different paces and use other techniques. Addition and subtraction are skills they will use for the rest of their lives but brings a lot of confusion.

Working with numbers may come easily for some but extremely difficult for others. Having the right tools in a student's toolbox makes all the difference. Giving them the ability to solve addition and subtraction equations without confusion is beyond rewarding for each student.
