My Project

I attended a class on integrating STEAM into the classroom and during school events. These kits were some of the items used to engage us and discover what our students might enjoy.

Getting the students involved in critical thinking, and delving into engineering and technology early in their education will help foster an excitement and a comfort working in these fields.

My role in our K-8 building is Instructional Coach. This allows me to work and share resources with many teachers. These kits will be shared and used during science periods and fun afterschool and evening events. Developing an excitement for coding with robots and developing critical thinking skills while solving academic tasks will create independent thinkers. Working collaboratively, the students will also learn valuable communication skills and prepare for existing in the workforce. Please consider donating - the students will benefit greatly from it!
