Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Donating a cart equipped with essential supplies like a class pack of Crayola colored pencils, jumbo pencils, two 30 packs of cookies, and two 40 packs of fruit gummies is crucial for the special needs students of our Elementary, a title one school catering to students from kindergarten through 5th grade. Special needs students often require additional support and resources to aid in their learning and development. The Crayola colored pencils and jumbo pencils provide them with the necessary tools to express themselves creatively and engage in art activities, fostering their cognitive and fine motor skills. Additionally, the packs of cookies and fruit gummies serve as nutritious snacks, essential for maintaining energy levels and concentration throughout the school day, ensuring that these students have the fuel they need to participate fully in their educational experiences.
