My Project

Help me give my students math manipulative materials. Having manipulatives during math lessons helps students make connections between very abstract concepts and the real world. They are able to physically manipulate objects giving them a deeper understanding of the 'why' behind what they are learning.

These manipulatives help foster deeper understanding of complex concepts while engaging the students in hands on learning.

They improve problem solving skills and ultimately improve mathematical skills. They can visually see the concepts they are working on and try multiple solutions, fostering critical thinking skills.

These manipulatives can me used in as a whole group, small group or in an individual setting for more direct instruction. Manupulatives are fantastic for bridging the gap for students struggling with dyscalculia, providing that tactile understanding of numbers and operations. So please allow me the opportunity to strengthen my students math skills.
