My Project
Children have had to re-learn how to be students and interact with appropriate social and behavioral skills with peers. For many of my students, flexible and sensory supportive seating increases attention to lessons and decreases challenging behaviors. When students are able to move and wiggle at their desks, it makes them less likely to get up to move around the room and distract other students while also increasing on-task and appropriate classroom behaviors. New seating will allow all students in the room to have adaptive seating and encourage a calmer classroom environment for all students.
