Help me give my students adaptive recorders so that every student can succeed.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Walker's classroom raised $215

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These adaptive recorders have keys that can help students who struggle with fine motor skills successfully play recorder without the challenge of covering the holes with their fingertips. Having these recorders would aid my students with disabilities in becoming more successful musicians!
I teach in Kensington, Philadelphia- one of the lowest income neighborhoods in one of the lowest income large cities in America.
I would like ALL of my talented, remarkable students to have access to self expression through music and be able to share that music with their community.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
