This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need adaptive materials to show what they know. They attend a school that provides free breakfast and lunch because of extensive needs. They are in a self-contained special class due to their significant needs. The district does not provide these materials and most of their work has to be created for them to be successful in the classroom. The materials requested will also be used to preserve their art work, which they are very proud of and get upset if they get ruined. These materials will also provide a more hands-on and interactive way for them to learn. It will also allow independent mastery.
