My Project
My class consists of kindergarten and first grade students, all with some form of disability. These tools (pencil sharpener, Ticonderoga My First Wooden pencils, floor spots, crayons, kinetic sand) will help make learning easier for them as they won't become distracted by the task at hand.
Simple tasks that seem easy are hard for my students.
Having specialized tools that will meet their needs better will help set them up for success. These tools will make learning tasks easier for them as they will become less focused on how they're holding their pencil or standing in line but can focus on learning with tools that are meant to help them reach their goals.
